The Frederick Douglass Institute for Intercultural Research offers teaching opportunities to graduate students who are pursuing careers as university faculty members and who are entering the final year of a terminal degree and/or doctoral programs.
As a Frederick Douglass Scholars Fellow, the scholar will teach and/or co-teach during the summer session(s) or full academic year (depending on term of appointment), continue their research, and contribute to the life of the university. Dates of employment vary among universities, but typically run during May through August. Candidates should indicate their preference and/or if they are willing to be considered for full-year appointments. Note, opportunities may vary depending on department availability.
