Founded in 2006, the HAYA Band is an award-winning world music collective representing a new era in folk music. With a solid understanding of both modern and traditional Mongolian music combined with their passion for nature, the HAYA: Migration Concert is richly rooted in the musical heritage of Mongolia, all the while celebrating modern musical elements.

HAYA鈥擬ongolian for 鈥渂order鈥濃攅mploys innovative musical language alongside traditional song to refresh centuries-old rhythm with modern vibrant heartbeats. Using such elements as chants, the Mongolian horsehead fiddle, plucked string instruments, throat singing, and shaman drums, HAYA Band provides a path for an escape from a fast-paced modern world鈥 a contemporary migration, of sorts鈥 to another realm, one surrounded by the wonders of nature and life.

Considered the pioneer of Mongolian crossover music, HAYA Band's music is refined and captivating, and their shows have a distinct ceremonious feel. They have won many accolades, including the Chinese Media Award, the China Music Award for Best World Music Performance, and the Taiwan Golden Melody Award for Best Crossover Music on two occasions. Their Silent Skies album is the best-selling soul/world music album of all time in Taiwan.

Their springtime performance at 亚色影库's Fisher Auditorium will mark their US concert debut.
