David reported that the co-chairs had a lunch meeting with the Provost and explained what the Graduate Curriculum Committee was about, why it was formed, and discussed some of the issues that the committee is faced with. The Provost said she will be spending more time with the proposals before they get to the committee. Dr. Williamson had comments about the search for Vice Provost and Dean of Graduate School is going very well. Three candidates have been interviewed by telephone. Dr. Boser announced that the Ph.D. in Safety Science is still at the Provost’s office; also the Master of Science in Information Assurance is with the Provost.
