Three faculty members in the Department of Biology recently won awards from the 亚色影库 School of Graduate Studies and Research and the 亚色影库 Research Institute.
Joe Townsend was named the Dean's Outstanding Researcher for the John J. and Char Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Sarah Emel received the New Investigator Award. Mike Tyree was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Research Award.
All three will be recognized on Monday, April 4, during Research Appreciation Week.
The work of these faculty members at the local, regional, and international levels is exemplary of the diverse research opportunities for students in the Biology Department.
