Student Hometown News Releases

Distributing news about student achievements—including scholarships, awards, internships, or attendance at conferences—are part of the outreach mission of the Office of Media Relations.

In order for a news release to be developed, the student must fill out a hometown news release form with their biographical information and indicate permission for a news release to be sent out to media.

Campus Alerts and Notifications

In the event of an emergency or crisis, including a change to scheduled classes or events related to inclement weather or other circumstance, members of the Office of Media Relations and the Division of Marketing and Communications play a primary role as part of the communications response team.

In the case of an emergency or inclement weather situation that causes a change in regularly scheduled classes or events, information will be posted on the 亚色影库 website and on the Emergency Information site. Emergency information will also be recorded on the 亚色影库 Information line, 724-357-1213.

Information about how to register for emergency notifications via text is available on the Emergency Notification System web page. Family members of students and employees may sign up to receive notifications.
