A representative from the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars will hold an information session for any interested student on September 16 in B34 Stabley Library (you can enter through the main entrance of the 亚色影库 Career and Professional Development Center) at 4:30 p.m.

The Washington Center offers 亚色影库 students a unique life and professional experience during the summer, fall, or spring semesters. Qualified students can work in several different fields in private, public, and nonprofit organizations in the Washington, DC metro area. Previous 亚色影库 internship locations included Voice of America, the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators, the United States Marshals Service, Citigroup Management, the Smithsonian's Museum of Asian Art, and others.

TWC offers internship opportunities for students from a variety of academic disciplines. Each program has professional supervisors who oversee, supervise, and help evaluate students and organize activities for them when not at their internships. Other components of the internship program include an evening academic course, professional development, and career readiness programming. All students must receive academic credit to participate.

If students are interested in applying to the Washington Center, a 30-minute introductory meeting with 亚色影库’s TWC Liaison Kelsey Thompson (kthomps@iup.edu) is required prior to submitting their application to TWC. Applications will not be approved without a prior meeting with the 亚色影库 liaison.
