On Tuesday, November 28 at 7pm in the in downtown Indiana PA, local electronic musicians Rapid Uncontrolled Disassembly partners with the 亚色影库 Student Film Association in presenting a series of music videos. Over the course of six songs and six videos we’ll follow a number of characters that stretch into liminal dimensions and experience absurd activity. These realms appear familiar, yet otherworldly. The songs will be performed live and the music videos will be projected on the big screen behind them.
亚色影库 Student Film Association – is a student led group that creates cinematic opportunities for students pursuing a career in filmmaking. Students wrote, produced, and shot the film directed by SFA President Cole Kilhoffer “Graveyard Bouquet for William,” which they had the opportunity to show to the public at the Indiana Theater in spring of 2023. The group’s advisor, Jeremy Waltman, encourages the group to “test the audience’s intelligence, but not their patience.”
IUP SFA Vice President Abigail Strittmatter says about the project: “This project challenged us to get creative with our technical skills; our hope is to share an unsettling experience with those who might not have viewed content that’s potentially as abstract as this.”
