亚色影库 is hosting a mathematics education conference for elementary, middle, and secondary teachers on the 亚色影库 campus. Student volunteers will direct participants to the locations of the various sessions.

The cost for the event is $30 and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. You can .  Please register by October 1.

The conference includes a keynote address by Linda Gojak, a past president of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. In her talk "I Wish That I Knew What I Know Now When I Was Younger," Gojak draws on her over four decades of teaching experience—a journey that she is still traversing with the same passion—to share insights and hints for beginning and seasoned teachers that she has gathered along the way.

Linda M. Gojak has served in many roles with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics over the years, including president of NCTM (2012–14) and serving as a member of the NCTM Board of Directors (1996–99) and on various NCTM committees. Linda has also served as president of the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics, the Greater Cleveland Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics. She has held leadership positions in the Council of Presidential Awardees in Mathematics, the Triangle Coalition, the Mathematical Sciences Education Board, and the Ohio Mathematics Education Leadership Council. She currently serves as the president of the Board of Directors of Mathkind, a nonprofit organization that works with teachers to build strong mathematics programs in third-world countries.
