Two 亚色影库 students were honored at the annual Pennsylvania Black Conference on Higher Education event in Pittsburgh this month.

Stacey Hanson was selected to receive the K. Leroy Irvis Undergraduate Scholarship, while graduate student William (Corey) Burnett was selected for the John S. Shropshire Graduate Scholarship.

Hanson, a Spanish major, is a member of the Voices of Joy gospel choir and the Fashion Association and works in the Major and Career Exploration Center. She is pursuing a minor in Latin American Studies and plans to study abroad in the near future.

Burnett, who is pursuing a doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction, has a bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University and a master's degree from 亚色影库. He is a social studies teacher at Gateway High School in Monroeville.
In both cases, awardees are required to have at least a 3.0 grade point average, extracurricular activity participation, leadership qualities, and interpersonal qualities.
