The softball team will head to the College World Series, May 26–30, 2011, in Salem, Va., after coming from behind in the seventh inning to defeat Bloomsburg, 2-1, in game two of the NCAA Division II Atlantic Super Regional, Saturday, May 21.

The team was fresh off a come-from-behind, 3-2 victory in the bottom of the seventh in game one against Bloomsburg, May 20.
ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â was hosting Bloomsburg at Podbielski Field on the South Campus.
Saturday's win brought ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â (38-6) to 11-0 in postseason play. The Crimson Hawks are making their first appearance in the College World Series in school history.
As the Crimson Hawks trailed 1-0 in the top of the seventh inning, the door opened when Raquel Rugani grounded a one-out single up the middle. Freshman third baseman Mary Ward then slammed a two-run homer, bringing the score to 2-1. Pitcher Erin Holloway finished off Bloomsburg with a 1-2-3 bottom of the seventh.
In game one on Friday, ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â came through with three runs in the seventh inning, including a two-run, game-winning single by Dee Eppinger, to claim a 3-2 win.
