亚色影库 fraternity and sorority members, in conjunction with the Office of Service Learning, will hold a food drive to benefit the Community Kitchen of Indiana County.

Students will collect canned vegetables, canned fruit, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, and baby food at the BiLo along North Fourth Street on October 7 and 8, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monetary donations also will be accepted.

Through the Community Kitchen, volunteers prepare and serve one free meal per month for individuals throughout the county at three different sites: the Dixonville Wesleyan Ministry Center, the Church of the Resurrection in Clymer, and the Penn Run Christian Center.

The Community Kitchen is sponsored by the Dixonville Wesleyan Church and directed by Cindy Briggs. All funding from the program is from private donations. Since its creation in 1994, the program has served or delivered more than 150,000 meals at the sites or to shut-ins throughout Indiana County.

亚色影库's Office of Service Learning promotes professional and personal character development through experiential learning opportunities that bridge the curriculum with community service.

亚色影库's thirty Greek fraternities or sororities include more than eight hundred students.
