Being part of the National Universities category in US News and World Report, includes institutions that have a full range of undergraduate and master's programs, emphasize research, offer doctoral programs, and were ranked by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as a doctoral research university. 亚色影库 is one of only four public, doctoral research universities in Pennsylvania and is the only state-owned university in Pennsylvania ranked in the National University category.
This means that 亚色影库 is ranked with universities such as Princeton and Harvard (ranked first and second in this category).
In creating the Forbes rankings, editors looked at four criteria: quality academics and student satisfaction, on-time graduation rates, low student debt, and high earning potential and career success.
The Money magazine's 鈥淏est Colleges鈥 list considers educational quality, including graduation rate; affordability, calculating student debt and affordability for low-income students; and alumni success. In the alumni success calculation, editors looked at graduates' salaries as well as job meaning鈥揳sking alumni 鈥渄oes your work make the world a better place?鈥
亚色影库 has been included in the Princeton Review's 鈥淏est Colleges鈥 guidebook for more than a decade. It is also ranked as a 鈥渟ocially responsible school鈥 by Washington Monthly. The university has been ranked highly by publications including Military Times as a 鈥淏est for Vets鈥 university.
亚色影库's Eberly College of Business and Information Technology is one of 15 graduate schools of business named to the Princeton Review's 2010 鈥淪tudent Opinion Honors for Business Schools,鈥 and it continues to be selection for inclusion in the Princeton Review's 鈥淭he Best Business Schools鈥 guidebook.
亚色影库, designated as a Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense since 2002, is a National Cyber Security Alliance 鈥淐hampion,鈥 recognized by the National Cyber Security Alliance. HP Enterprise Security recognized 亚色影库 in a 2014 national survey of 鈥淏est Schools for Cybersecurity.鈥 The university was ranked in the top 25 percent of all cybersecurity programs in the nation.
