Black students, faculty, and staff are invited to join a discussion with an 亚色影库 alumni committee that aims to improve the academic success and social experience of Black students at 亚色影库. Kicking off Homecoming weekend, this Fireside Chat with the Black Experience Alumni Committee will be Thursday, September 30, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the Elkin Hall Great Room.
BEAC members hope to learn more about the current Black student experience, the needs of 亚色影库’s Black students, and the best ways to communicate with this audience.
Open to all 亚色影库 students, faculty, and staff, this event is an opportunity to network with successful Black alumni and to give feedback about 亚色影库 to those who will advocate on Black students’ behalf.
The fireside chat will include light refreshments, a gift card giveaway, and an 亚色影库 swag bag for participants, while supplies last. No registration is required. Wearing 亚色影库 attire to show your pride is strongly encouraged.
This event is hosted by the BEAC and the 亚色影库 Ambassadors, in collaboration with the Office of Alumni and Constituent Engagement and the Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement.
