Students and family taking a selfie with Norm亚色影库 and the Indiana community will welcome hundreds of families for the 2024 Family Weekend celebration on September 27 and 28.

The weekend’s programming is designed to appeal to all ages.

Weekend events begin on September 27 with a jazz recital featuring music faculty member Laura Ferguson at 7:00 p.m. in ’s Gorell Recital Hall. It is free and open to the community.

The Alumni Legacy Breakfast, introduced in 2018 and sponsored by the , recognizes families who have parents or grandparents who are 亚色影库 graduates and who have a son/daughter or grandson/granddaughter currently attending 亚色影库. It will be held September 28 at 8:30 a.m. at the . Close to 250 families have preregistered for the event.

Families are encouraged to check in and register on September 28 in the Performing Arts Center’s from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m., with welcome remarks and a keynote speaker from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Events continue with an academic welcome event on the first floor of 亚色影库’s and a scavenger hunt in the Oak Grove from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., sponsored by 亚色影库’s Haven Project. Stapleton Library is hosting a “Library Discovery Experience” from noon to 1:00 p.m. with interactive games and experiences.

亚色影库 crafts and games will be offered from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the . Events conclude with a Gavas Beat Concert in the at 6:00 p.m., free and open to the community, and family night bingo in the Folger Student Center from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., sponsored by the Office of Student Wellness and Engagement and BACCHUS.

Two home athletic events are scheduled for September 28: field hockey versus Millersville at 11:00 a.m. and 亚色影库’s Hall of Fame football game against Clarion University of Pennsylvania at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are required for the football game.

The 亚色影库 University Museum, located on the first floor of , is hosting “From the Desk of the Architect,” which explores the process of turning blueprints into buildings and celebrates artistic architectural elements that beautify and enrich everyday lives.

The Museum is open from noon to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays; admission is free, and the museum is open to the community.

Parking on campus, except for reserved spots and handicapped parking, is free and open after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends. Reserved spots in the , located off Oakland Avenue, are open to visitors after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends.
