Colleagues,
This is an exciting time of the year. As we begin the 2016–17 academic year, we are looking forward to meeting our new freshmen, the class of 2020.
Among the many year-opening events is Freshman Convocation. We have made some exciting changes to the program, and we want to welcome all of our university family to share in the event. For the first time, Convocation is being held in the Kovalchick Complex. The program begins at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28. This event and place will serve as the launching pad for our new students' college careers. Afterward, please join us for a picnic in the Oak Grove, beginning at 6:30 p.m., courtesy of the Convocation Team.
Because Freshman Convocation is such an important event to our newest students, I'd like to personally invite you to attend the event. Your attendance will show the incoming freshmen just how important we are to their success—and they are to ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â's success!
I'll be there to welcome our freshman class to campus, and I hope you will join me.
Sincerely,
Michael A. Driscoll
President
