The 亚色影库 Institute for Rural Health and Safety brings together university personnel from various disciplines and professional backgrounds to solve problems related to rural health and safety.

It provides driver education, improvement programs, and first responder and emergency response team training. 亚色影库 is offering EMT courses at the 亚色影库 main campus and at 亚色影库 Pittsburgh East, located near Monroeville.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: On November 4, 2021, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid announced an interim rule requiring COVID-19 vaccinations for all healthcare workers (including students and faculty) who provide care, treatment, or services for a covered provider. Some departments at 亚色影库 have already received word that many clinical sites are mandating the COVID vaccination for all students and staff who are at their sites. The sites are requiring that students have the first vaccine of Pfizer or Moderna (or the only vaccine of Johnson & Johnson) by December 5, 2021, and the second Pfizer or Moderna vaccine by January 2, 2022. In most cases, it does not appear any exemptions will be granted. The 亚色影库 EMT and Paramedic programs want to make sure all EMS students are aware of this requirement.

Please note that 亚色影库 offers EMT courses at 亚色影库 Pittsburgh East, located near Monroeville, and the 亚色影库 main campus.
