Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education has partnered with EverFi to provide critical education and training to all university-related personnel. All university employees and affiliates will receive an individualized email invitation with the course access information during the week of February 1-5, 2021. This online education will provide important skills and resources to help foster a safe, inclusive, and healthy work environment.
In compliance with federal and state laws, and the State System's Board of Governors, PASSHE expects all employees and affiliates to complete three courses:
- Preventing Harassment and Discrimination
- Protecting Youth
- Diversity: Inclusion in the Modern Workplace
Important notes about the training:
- You will have 30 days to complete all three courses.
- The sender is automated-message@everfi-foundry.net.
- Check all folders within your 亚色影库 email address. Do not delete this training email.
- Technical information is included in the email invitation (i.e., best browsers to use, how to get technical support).
- Emails can not be shared, as each invitation is individualized so that training completion can be automatically recorded correctly.
- Time during work hours and computer access are to be provided in order for all personnel to meet their training requirement.
- New hires have been/will continue to be assigned trainings as payroll paperwork is processed—not necessarily during the week of February 1-5.
- Student workers and graduate assistants will receive their email invitations in the coming weeks. They will not be included in this first push-out of employee assignments.
These courses replace the trainings used in past years (Lawroom and D2L) and which were normally assigned each September.
If you should have any questions regarding your training obligation, please contact your supervisor, the Office of Human Resources (human-resources@iup.edu), or the Social Equity and Title IX Office (title-ix@iup.edu).
