Joe Benyish, a 2012 alumnus of the Student Affairs in Higher Education program at 亚色影库, is a recipient of the National Association for Campus Activities Legacy Award.
This award honors the fiftieth anniversary of NACA and is given to up to two NACA leaders with the potential to serve the Association at a significant level for a significant period of time. It provides a year of NACA professional development opportunities for the recipients. Benyish will be recognized at NACA Live next month in Louisville.
Benyish serves as the director of orientation, transition, and family programs at Salisbury University. Before transitioning to orientation work, he served as coordinator of student life at Salisbury University and assistant director of student activities at Alvernia University (PA). In terms of NACA volunteering, Benyish is finishing up his two-year term as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Leadership Team chair. Prior to serving in this role for the Association, Benyish has served in several other volunteer capacities, including regional roles and on the National Block Booking Team.
