The Women’s and Gender Studies Program, the President’s Commission on the Status of Women, the Office of Social Equity and Title IX, and the APSCUF Faculty Wellness Grant collaborated to present four 亚色影库 Women’s Leadership Awards to six women staff, administrators, and faculty at the Reception to Celebrate Women and the Women’s Leadership Award Ceremony on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in the Blue Room.

These awards celebrated the outstanding leadership, dedication, hard work, and accomplishments of multiple constituencies of women employees to advance gender, sexual, and cultural inclusive excellence at 亚色影库, in the communities, and often in their professions in the past decades and years.
Provost Lara Luetkehans spoke to offer strong support for women’s leadership development at 亚色影库, to recognize the significance of the four women’s leadership awards, and to congratulate the staff, administrator and faculty winners.
Dean Curtis Scheib, College of Arts, Humanities, Media, and Public Affairs, spoke to recognize these women employees’ valuable contributions to the academic excellence and success of our diverse students at 亚色影库 and the event’s contribution to an inclusive, positive, and supportive campus climate.
Elise Glenn, chief diversity and inclusion officer, emphasized the significance of diversity and inclusive excellence at the university in these challenging times. The Office of Social Equity and Title IX graciously cosponsored the reception luncheon.

Women Students’ Leadership Awards were taken care of by a separate group of colleagues and could not be included in this initiative.
Many faculty, staff, administrators, students, and the award winners’ families, friends, and team members gathered and enjoyed the reception luncheon. The event was very successful. The event organizers—Lingyan Yang, WGS director, and Ann Sesti, director of the President’s Commission on the Status of Women—deeply appreciated the hard-working colleagues serving on the three separate awards committees as well as the strong support from the campus community.
