Daniel and Diane Griffith Geography and Mathematics Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to talented and deserving students interested in a geography major with a minor or a second major in mathematics.
Mewha Geography Scholarship
To award a scholarship to one undergraduate student majoring in Geography, Geology, Environment, and Planning at 亚色影库 and/or to one graduate student accepted at 亚色影库 and following the curriculum in Geography, Geology, Environment, and Planning.
Selection Decision
The Geography, Geology, Environment, and Planning Planning Scholarship Committee will take the necessary steps to select the recipients for each scholarship.
Alan Mewha Memorial Fund
To award a scholarship to one undergraduate student majoring in Geography, Geology, Environment, and Planning at 亚色影库 and/or to one graduate student accepted at 亚色影库 and following the curriculum in Geography, Geology, Environment, and Planning.

Geography, Geology, Environment, and Planning Scholarship
This scholarship provides scholarship support to students enrolled in the Anthropology, Geospatial and Earth Sciences department at 亚色影库.
Selection Decision
The awarding of scholarships shall be on the recommendation of a committee of three or four Anthropology, Geospatial and Earth Sciences faculty members and shall be according to guidelines approved by the department.
Regional Planning Student Awards
The Burchfield Scholarship: for Social Studies Education/Geography majors
- The scholarship is competitive, based on high school academic record.
- The student's home residence must be in Indiana or Fayette county.
- The student must major in Social Studies Education/Geography emphasis at 亚色影库.
- The student must remain in good academic standing to continue to receive the scholarship.
- Students have received between $1,500 and $3,000 per year over the last several years.
- Students can receive funding for up to four years.
The Dan and Diane Griffith Scholarship: for Students Pursuing a Combination of Geography and Mathematics
- The scholarship is competitive, based on high school academic record.
- The student must major in some combination of geography and mathematics (for example a Geography major and Math minor; a Math major and Geography minor; or a double major in Geography and Math).
- The student must remain in good academic standing to continue to receive the scholarship.
- Students have received $600 per year since the scholarship initiated.
- Students can receive funding for up to four years.
- Four students will be funded simultaneously (freshman through senior).

A $5,000 stipend plus travel expenses for AAAS fellowship for current undergraduate students or those who have completed a degree no more than one year ago in the physical, biological, geological, health, engineering, computer, or social sciences or mathematics.

Award of one engraved Brunton transit and one-year membership to AWG to a female geoscience student at the senior level or early graduate level who has been a summer intern, excelled at field camp, or promoted field data collection leading to a senior or graduate thesis.

Award of $750 to a full-time, female undergraduate student in the geosciences including geology, geophysics, geochemistry, hydrology, meteorology, physical oceanography, planetary geology, or earth science education, with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Up to $9,500 scholarship for undergraduates majoring in a discipline area related to oceanic, environmental, biological, and atmospheric sciences, mathematics, engineering, remote sensing technology, physical and social sciences including geography, physics, hydrology, geomatics, or teacher education.
