Nutrition Connection services are sponsored by the Department of Allied and Public Health with support from the Center of Health and Well-Being in the Suites on Maple East and the Student Cooperative Association.

Food and nutrition majors and dietetic interns build nutrition counseling skills while helping students and community members make healthy food choices.The purpose of Nutrition Connection is to provide preprofessional training in nutrition intervention to junior and senior dietetics majors and graduate dietitian-nutritionist students while providing the 亚色影库 community with information about nutrition for a variety of personal concerns. The overall goal of Nutrition Connection is to promote healthy eating and body weight, with nutrition recommendations tailored to meet individual needs, preferences, and goals.

Take advantage of this free educational service at 亚色影库! Open to all 亚色影库 students, faculty, and staff.

Nutrition Connection offers nutrition assessment and intervention through individual counseling. Services are provided by graduate dietitian-nutritionist students, who are completing supervised practice rotations to be registered dietitians. They are managed by the director of the MS in Food and Nutrition, Dietitian-Nutritionist Program, Jodie Seybold, MS, RDN, LDN.

Services are also provided by undergraduate students who have completed coursework in wellness and clinical nutrition and who are currently enrolled in FDNT 465 Nutrition Counseling and Education. Stephanie Taylor-Davis, PhD, RDN, LDN, teaches the course and supervises the services.

The daily operations of the Nutrition Connection office are managed by a graduate assistant in the Department of Allied and Public Health.
