Spring Commencement 2012 took place in ceremonies at 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on May 12 at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex. Approximately 2,250 students graduated in the company of families, friends, and the 亚色影库 community. This slideshow, set to the 亚色影库 Alma Mater, shares some of the many wonderful moments of the day.

Acclaimed arts educator Clyde McGeary '54 gave the keynote address and was awarded an honorary doctorate. He told graduates, "Your staying power will be tested, and you will be challenged to trust in your own as well as the talents of others. You will come to sense and know what is necessary, positive, and beautiful."
Stephanie Stahl, who earned a master's degree in school counseling, delivered the student address at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, declaring, "Education is empowering, and the benefits are twofold: We improve ourselves so that we may then improve our environment."
Theater major Christopher Anthony, delivering the student address at the 9:00 a.m. ceremony, said, "My education has exposed me to a world of relevant and meaningful work in which I will someday have a voice. And I encourage you, Class of 2012, to use your chosen fields of study to do good works, and to fulfill the expectations you have for your own life!"
