亚色影库 Masters of Arts in Performance graduate SIcheng He will give a solo recital this Friday, March 3, at 7:00 p.m., in Gorell Recital Hall (second floor of ). The program will include works by Scarlatti, Haydn, Liszt, Guarnieri, and Stockhausen. Admission is free.
He graduated from 亚色影库 in May 2020 and is a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at James Madison University, studying with Brazilian pianist Paulo Steinberg. He is also a teaching assistant at JMU, teaching undergraduate class piano and serving as a vocal coach and collaborative pianist. A native of China, SIcheng received his undergraduate degree from Shenyang Conservatory, studying with Professor Yiyin Zhang, and his Master of Arts in Performance degree from 亚色影库, studying with Henry Wong Doe. While a student at 亚色影库, Sicheng worked with students at the 亚色影库 Community Music School.
He will give a masterclass to pre-college students from the Indiana area and 亚色影库 piano majors on Saturday, March 4, at 11:00 a.m. in Room 120.
