The President's Commission on the Status of Women will present its fourth annual conference, 鈥淭ough Women in Tough Times,鈥 May 25, 2011, at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
The conference will begin with morning registration at 8:00.
The 亚色影库 commission is working with Indiana Regional Medical Center's Spirit of Women program to present this year's event, which is open to the community.
Keynote Speaker: Jennifer Antkowiak
Award-winning KDKA-TV news anchor Jennifer Antkowiak will be the keynote speaker at the lunch hour.
In addition to her work with KDKA-TV news, Antkowiak has produced and starred in her own show, Jennifer, has led workshops, and has authored several books, including Take Care Tips. She is the founder of Jennifer Productions, a company providing information and products to assist caregivers.
The conference also offers twenty breakout sessions and workshops, ranging from organization tips, coupon-saving techniques, nutrition on the run, yoga and meditation, work and life balance, grief counseling, and professional development. In addition, a number of vendors and nonprofit agencies will have informational and sales tables in the Kovalchick Complex lobby.
Registration
The registration fee, which includes the cost of the luncheon and Antkowiak's presentation, is $50 for the full-day program or $35 for half a day. The fee for a half-day program includes the cost of the luncheon and keynote presentation.
Employees of Indiana Regional Medical Center and members of the Spirit of Women program have a reduced registration fee of $20. The event is free to all 亚色影库 employees.

The President's Commission on the Status of Women at 亚色影库 is part of a larger network of commissions at all fourteen member universities of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The commissions are charged with examining the status of women at the individual universities, identifying areas that need improvement, recommending solutions for problems, promoting networking, and encouraging leadership among women.
