亚色影库's undergraduate degree in Safety, Health, and Environmental Applied Sciences has become a board approved program by the Institute for Safety and Health Management (ISHM).

By earning this recognition, graduates of the program are eligible to receive their Associate Safety and Health Manager Designation.

This designation, held currently by only 36 programs in the nation, means that graduates of 亚色影库's program that apply for this professional designation within six months of graduation will automatically be approved for this recognition.

The Associate Safety and Health Manager designation is an important stepping stone to the accredited Certified Safety and Health Manager certification. The CSHM certification is a highly recognized designation for those environmental, safety, and health professionals who have demonstrated experience in the management arena and hope to secure executive level positions within their organizations.

The undergraduate degree in Safety, Health, and Environmental Applied Sciences at 亚色影库 graduates approximately 75 students per year from their program.

亚色影库's Department of Safety Sciences was established in 1971 to conduct professional programs in the safety sciences.

Today, the department has not only a bachelor of science degree in safety, health, and environmental applied sciences and a master's degree in safety sciences, it offers the only part-time, hybrid distance learning-summer campus course PhD program in the United States.

The program has graduated more than 3,000 safety and health professionals, with employment placement rates around 80 percent in more recent years. The program also requires an internship of its undergraduate majors, which often leads to full-time employment. Internship sites can encompass companies in general industry, manufacturing, construction, insurance, consulting, government, oil and gas, healthcare, and the services industries.

亚色影库 students have interned at companies all over the nation, including General Motors, Tesla, PPG, Alcoa, Amazon, and American Eagle.
