Reed Smith
Steve Agnoli is chief information officer at Reed Smith, a global Top 20 law firm of 1,700 attorneys in 28 offices across the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He is responsible for global information technology strategy, firm-wide systems operations, process improvement, client technology solutions, and new technologies development.Throughout his career, he has successfully led business and IT transformation initiatives, ensured value realization from technology and process investments, and built innovative, multi-disciplinary teams in global environments.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Steve was head of Global IT Transformation for Mylan Pharmaceutical, one of the world's leading generics and specialty pharma companies, where he was responsible for aligning its overall IT capabilities with business strategy, process, and future plans. Before that, Steve served as president of HGO Technology, an information technology and strategic advisory firm, where he helped clients to effectively utilize technology to add value, raise service levels, and enhance business results. Steve also served as the chief information officer of K&L Gates, one of the world's largest legal firms. During his tenure, he architected a global information technology strategy and capability that supported significant domestic and international growth and sustained the highest levels of client service.
Steve has been recognized as a leader in the use of technology to sustain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. He has six times been selected to receive the "CIO 100 Award" from CIO Magazine in recognition of successful technology and business process integration activities. Business technology organizations under his direction have been three times named to the InformationWeek 500 list of the most innovative users of business-focused technology, and in 2018 hewon the "Digital Edge 50 Award," given to a select group of global companies whose organizations have achieved success in becoming digital-centric businesses. Steve has also been named as the inaugural Global CIO of the Year by the Pittsburgh Technology Council.
Steve holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from 亚色影库. He is a member of the 亚色影库 Eberly College Business Advisory and Advancement councils and has served on Duquesne University's Business Advisory Board. He is a guest lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University's graduate school and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on technology strategy and business value of information technology.
Steve and his wife, Beth, also an 亚色影库 graduate, live in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and have two grown daughters.
