The聽亚色影库 Counseling Center is offering a safe place to talk about the recent shooting during homecoming weekend on Wednesday, October 11 at 4:30 p.m. at the Center for Health and Well-Being located at G-18 Suites on Maple East.聽
Actively Moving Forward was created in response to the needs of grieving young adults.
Research has shown that group counseling is as effective as individual counseling. Talking with other students who have similar experiences provides support and perspective.
亚色影库 has partnered with Togetherall to provide students with free 24/7 access to online peer-to-peer mental health support. Togetherall鈥檚 online community is clinically moderated by mental health professionals and offers students a safe and anonymous place to express their thoughts, concerns, and triumphs.

4U Mentoring is designed for foster and independent affiliated students to ensure they succeed in college by defying the odds that were put against them.
The 亚色影库 Counseling Center will be facilitating two groups this semester: Understanding Self & Others, and Making Connections. Groups will be held in-person at the Center for Health and Well-Being, Counseling Center G-31.
The 亚色影库 Counseling Center will be offering both in-person and telehealth appointments for the fall semester.

The Haven Project would like to thank all of our partners (administration, faculty, staff, students, and organizations) for collaborating with us in the 2020鈥21 academic year to aid in our mission to make our campus safer.
The Counseling Center does not offer student counseling services during the summer. The office will open for administrative services only May 12鈥16 and August 9鈥20. Counseling services will resume on August 23.

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Haven Project invites you to view the 鈥淲hat Would You Tell a Survivor?鈥 video offering encouraging messages of hope and support. 亚色影库 and its community partners want survivors to know that they matter, they are heard, they are supported, and they are not alone.聽
Take Back the Night is an annual event that raises awareness, empowers individuals, and inspires action that will bring an end to sexual violence. The virtual event will include guest speakers Tracey Vitchers from聽It鈥檚 On Us聽and Denise Pearson, vice chancellor of the聽Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.

On April 7, 亚色影库 graduate Layne Fargo discussed her writing career, how going to 亚色影库 helped to shape her stories, and provided advice for those interested in writing and publication in the future.
Join representatives from the Connections Team to learn about the experiences foster care students have at 亚色影库 by listening to their stories of perseverance and resilience. Learn about ways 亚色影库 can help with the transition鈥攎ental health support, financial aid, community engagement, case management, mentoring, housing options, and tutoring programs, just to name a few.
On Wednesday, April 14, at 5:00 p.m. you are invited to show your support for survivors of sexual assault with the Haven Project鈥檚 Virtual Speak Out. Survivors are given the chance to have their voices heard, even if we can't be together in person. Anonymous stories were submitted and will be be read by the Haven Project staff, peer educators, and volunteers.
The Haven Project and the Fashion Merchandising Program are partnering together to set up the 鈥淲hat Were You Wearing?鈥 exhibit. Anonymous survivor stories from the 亚色影库 community will be on display all week in the Stapleton Library, April 12鈥16.
Join the Haven Project and Phi Sigma Kappa to learn about the It鈥檚 On Us national campaign that encourages us to be better bystanders and teaches us about power-based violence, sexual violence prevention, and more.
The 亚色影库 community can support survivors of sexual assault by creating a sign with a supportive message for the 鈥淲hat Would You Tell a Survivor鈥 campaign. Signs are due by Friday, April 23, 2021, to the Haven Project.
