The Haven Project provides counseling and support for students who have experienced sexual violence, domestic/dating violence, and stalking. Confidential counseling and consultation is provided to survivors through the 亚色影库 Counseling Center.
We assist with accommodations for survivor's safety and well-being. Some of the ways that we can help are by changing university housing assignments, rearranging class schedules, obtaining coursework extensions, obtaining withdrawals from courses, and safety planning. We can provide information regarding both on-campus and community resources to students and can link students with them. Students are eligible for services, whether or not they choose to report.
The Haven Project also assists survivors through the 亚色影库 Student Conduct process by educating survivors in the process, helping survivors with filing Student Conduct charges, and/or accompanying survivors to Student Conduct proceedings.
The Haven Project provides education and prevention programming on sexual violence, domestic/dating violence, stalking, consent, healthy and unhealthy relationships, human trafficking, and bystander intervention through the Green Dot Bystander Intervention Program.
They facilitate awareness campaigns throughout the year, including RAINN Day and Take Back the Night. RAINN Day is an annual day of action to raise awareness and educate students about sexual violence on college campuses. Take Back the Night is a march through the 亚色影库 campus to show support for victims and survivors of sexual violence. The march is followed by a powerful survivor speak-out, which offers survivors of violence an opportunity to give voice to their experiences.
亚色影库's Haven Project welcomes volunteers for assistance in their awareness campaigns. Those interested in volunteering should visit our Get Involved Page.
