Scene from “It's Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus”The ɫӰ Dance Theater, under the Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance at ɫӰ, will present It's Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus, an original adaptation of Hocus Pocus. Co-choreographed and directed by Katie Gutmann and Holly Boda-Sutton, this wickedly funny production will be performed on March 27-28 at 7:00 p.m. and March 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Zink Hall Dance Auditorium on the ɫӰ campus.

Created to a spooky and surprising score, It's Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus tells the story of three teenage sisters who foolishly bring three witches back from the dead, unleashing devilish chaos on their hometown. With the reinforcements of a bold tabby cat and an endearing zombie, the three sisters avert disaster on Halloween night.

This production is brought to life with the help of the department faculty designers: Brian Jones, set and projection design; Ethan Hollinger, lighting design; and Nancy Pipkin-Hutchinson, costume supervisor.

ɫӰ Dance Theater is excited to welcome some familiar faces into the performance of It's Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus. Dance Arts program alumni Lindsey Grove and Anna Ponak-Shively, along with community performers Joy Gaydosh, Donell Kingan, and Wendy Varner, bring the townspeople of the story to life. This production includes a cameo performance by Michael Kingan, the director of Percussion Studies at ɫӰ.
