亚色影库 Dance Theater Opens Season with 鈥淧hantasmagoria of Edgar Allan Poe鈥

Using some of Poe鈥檚 poems and short stories with original composition from David Martynuik, 亚色影库 Dance Theater, under the direction and choreography of Holly Boda-Sutton, explores the still unexplained life and death of one of America鈥檚 most singular writers. The free performance will be live-streamed on Friday, November 13, and Sunday, November 15.

Theater-by-the-Grove Opens Season with Live-Streaming Performances

亚色影库鈥檚 Theater-by-the-Grove will kick off its 2020鈥21 season with two live-streaming presentations of William Shakespeare鈥檚 Much Ado About Nothing. Directed by Richard Kemp, the production will be presented on October 22 and 24 at 7:30 p.m.

Community Music School Open For Fall

The 亚色影库 Community Music School has opened for the fall 2020 semester for in-person lessons, as well as continuing to offer a quality online lesson experience. Registration for lessons is ongoing throughout the semester.

Lively Arts Announces Cancellation of 鈥淔inding Neverland鈥 Due to Coronavirus Concerns

Due to the concerns regarding the rapid spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), guidance from both federal and state governments, and policy announced yesterday for 亚色影库 regarding the suspension of group activities to limit the spread of the virus, the upcoming production of Finding Neverland at 亚色影库 on Thursday, March 19, is now canceled.

亚色影库 Dance Theatre Spins a Spooky Tale with 鈥淗ocus Pocus鈥

The 亚色影库 Dance Theater will present It鈥檚 Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus, an original adaptation of Hocus Pocus. Co-choreographed and directed by Katie Gutmann and Holly Boda-Sutton, this wickedly funny production will be performed on March 27鈥29 in the Zink Hall Dance Auditorium on the 亚色影库 campus.

Hilton Garden Inn Teams with Lively Arts to Present Broadway Favorite

Hilton Garden Inn will be the presenting sponsor as the Lively Arts brings the Broadway tour of Finding Neverland to Fisher Auditorium of the 亚色影库 Performing Arts Center. The winner of Broadway.com鈥檚 Audience Choice Award for Best Musical will be presented on the new date of Thursday, March 19, 2020.

亚色影库's Music Theater Presents Sci-Fi Twist on Classic Opera 鈥淒on Giovanni鈥

亚色影库鈥檚 Music Theater will present the opera Don Giovanni (Don Juan), sung in English, with music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte. This fully-staged version with a sci-fi twist will take place February 27鈥29 and March 1 in the 亚色影库 Performing Arts Center, featuring the 亚色影库 Opera Festival Orchestra.

University Museum Presents Exhibit of Personal Art Collection of Professor Kabala

The exhibit Dr. Kabala鈥檚 Cabinet of Wonders: Highlights from a Collection showcases the personal art collection of Irene Kabala, a professor in 亚色影库鈥檚 Art and Design Department, who has amassed an eclectic array of culturally diverse artwork from around the world that spans multiple centuries, from the middle ages to today.
