Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1895, the world-renowned Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will be visiting 亚色影库 for a side-by-side performance with a specially selected assembly of 亚色影库 student musicians. Works planned are by Beethoven, Bach, Grieg, and Borodin.
Annual Homecoming Concert: A New Beginning

The annual Homecoming Concert is a music tradition at 亚色影库, and this year's concert, titled A New Beginning, also welcomes Timothy Paul as the new conductor of the 亚色影库 Wind Ensemble and 亚色影库's director of bands.
Ayres Ibericos

With the voice of Raquel Winnica Young and joined by pianist Sun Min Kim, the performance Ayres Ibericos is all about the love for Latin American music. Songs by Jesus Garcia Leoz, Federico Garcia Lorca , Manuel de Falla and others will be featured in this exploration of Spanish music.
CALJE: Chicago Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble

Founded in 2006 by Nicaraguan pianist and composer Darwin Noguera and Mexican trumpeter and composer Victor Garcia, CALJE follows in the innovative footsteps of the pioneering Cuban group Irakere, Arturo O'Farril's Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, and the Dizzy Gillespie United Nations Orchestra. This dynamic group continues the legacy of Latin Jazz big band, creating new original and genre-bending works.
Gabriel's Dream

The image-provoking lyrics of Peter Gabriel's music unfold a world in which the audience shares in a man's journey in the story of Gabriel's Dream.
The Magic Flute

The Magic Flute, written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, was in the form of a Singspiel, an opera that includes both singing and spoken dialogue. This two-act opera has had many adaptations and has inspired other works. However, none of them can compare to this original grand, entertaining, delightful story. This production of The Magic Flute will be semi-staged and sung in English.
Cantus

The nine-member men's a capella vocal ensemble Cantus performs as a chamber ensemble, each contributing to the entirety of the artistic process. Acknowledged around the world for their programmatic versatility, artistic excellence, and charismatic personality, Cantus gives voice to the shared human experience. Their Indiana performance will include a massed-choir experience that will bring down the house.
Ragtime: The Musical

Direct from Broadway, the national tour of this powerhouse musical comes to Indiana. At the turn into the 20th century, three families from three different worlds are joined in New York: an upper class Protestant family from New Rochelle, a young African-American musician in Harlem, and a newly immigrated artist living in a lower-east-side tenement.
Home for the Holidays

Vocal and choral groups come together to celebrate the season with Home for the Holidays. Groups include choral ensembles from the 亚色影库 Music Department and 亚色影库 Community Music School, along with other area vocal and choral groups.
Genghis Barbie

The all-girl, all-horn quartet Genghis Barbie was initially developed because the four of them were all good friends, loved to do the same thing, and had a lot of free time. This fast-rising star ensemble brings the music world glamor, style, and virtuosity.
Drum TAO: Seventeen Samurai

The performers of Drum TAO are both highly trained athletes and highly expressive artists. Melodies of various genres and primal taiko rhythms result in an enchanting scene that only this Japan-based ensemble can present. Using music, choreography, humor, and spectacle, the group has critics raving about their extraordinary precision, energy, and stamina.
Mamma Mia!

It was on March 23, 1999, that the musical Mamma Mia! met its first and most crucial test when it was put in front of its first-ever paying audience in London. It was given the kind of welcome it has been getting ever since, every night, at every one of the many productions that have since followed.
Litton Quartet: Heiliger Dankgesang

The Litton Quartet, 亚色影库's resident faculty string quartet, returns to with works by Beethoven, including Op. 18 No. 1 which accompanies the sword fight in Romeo and Juliet. The second work is 鈥淗eiliger Dankgesang,鈥 meaning 鈥渢he song of thanksgiving.鈥
Swan Lake: Moscow Festival Ballet

Founded in 1989 by principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet, Sergei Radchenko, the Moscow Festival Ballet brings together the highest classical elements of the great Bolshoi and Kirov Ballet companies in an independent new company within the framework of Russian classic ballet.
Carmina Burana

American Tapestry

American Tapestry founder Robin Spielberg says, 鈥淭hese are songs I grew up singing, and your parents grew up singing.鈥 Moved to keep these historical and poignant American gems fresh and alive, she formed a trio to encourage today's young people to pass these songs onward to future generations. This event will also help celebrate Indiana Borough's bicentennial.
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

This Tony Award-winning musical comedy introduces us to six awkward, quirky, and thoroughly endearing students on the quest of a lifetime鈥攂ecoming champion of the annual spelling bee. This production is not recommended for younger children.
Arnaldo Cohen

Steinway artist Arnaldo Cohen began his musical studies at the age of five and graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with an honors degree in both piano and violin, although he didn't plan to become a professional pianist. It was winning Italy's prestigious Busoni International Piano Competition in 1972 that helped him decide his calling.
