Graduate Student Internships


  • These internships are offered in the four programs of the J. Paul Getty Trustthe J. Paul Getty Museum, the Getty Research Institute, the Getty Conservation Institute, and the Getty Foundation, as well as in Getty Publicationsto students who intend to pursue careers in fields related to the visual arts. It explores the idea of luxury in the Americas from 1000 BC to c. AD 1600 through indigenous understandings of value. The intern will be involved in all aspects of curating the exhibition and developing the accompanying catalog. Due to the nature of the project, knowledge of Spanish is highly desired.
