Dr. Kathryn Bonach
Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology

Dr. Kathryn Bonach, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, has been employed by 亚色影库 since August of 2001. Dr. Bonach teaches both undergraduate and graduate level classes within the Sociology curricula and has taken on various leadership roles as an Undergraduate Education Committee Chair, Chair's Council, Sociology Department Outcomes Assessment Committee, Senate Student Affairs Committee, University Wide Promotion Committee, and various other committees. She has also received an additional license as a Professional Counselor since the start of her employment.

In 2003, Dr. Bonach began working with the local court system to evaluate the processes of handling alleged child abuse cases. Once the problem areas were established she then developed a network of agencies needed to establish a Children's Advocacy Center. By July 6, 2004 an informational meeting was held, which established a task force, and an operational agreement was signed by all entities to develop the Children's Advocacy Center of Indiana County.

In November of 2004, Dr. Bonach was awarded a development grant from the Children's Advocacy Center . The goal of this project is to develop a Children's Advocacy Center of Indiana County, which will provide the coordination and intervention procedures in order to provide safety for children against child abuse.

In January of 2005, Dr. Bonach was awarded a training grant from the National Children's Alliance , in order to provide additional training for the center's newly hired director. This will enable the director to establish a strong understanding of the project's staff and build a solid foundation for the start of the new center.
